Frederic Jouhet is a French-born entrepreneur and the sole owner of Avantius Group, an investment holding company for MacuHealth, a leader in supplementation for age-related macular degeneration and visual performance, Memory Health, a science-based nootropic, and Natura Medica, with products such as Vitreous Health (a solution for eye floaters) and TG Omega-3 Fish Oil.

Before his time with Avantius and Highbury Partners, Frederic served as a financial advisor and manager for several Wall Street firms.

A former law professor, he taught at several schools, including the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and the University of Michigan. He holds a Master's in Banking and Business Law from the Université d’Auvergne Ecole de Droit et de Sciences Politiques, France, and a Master in Laws (LL.M.) from The University of Michigan Law School. Frederic also served as an officer in the French Navy before immigrating to the United States.
